Your next ad campaign belongs in Publi
Manage advertisers, publish on-brand static creative and report on delivery—all in the same workflow as your publication.
The issue has a deadline. So does the campaign paying for it.
A typical ad campaign starts with a sale. Someone records the advertiser, dates, destination and promised delivery in a spreadsheet. The creative arrives later by email. An editor downloads the right-looking attachment, places it in an article and publishes.
Then something changes. The advertiser sends a revised image. The campaign needs to pause. The mobile version is buried in another thread. Someone has to remember every page where the ad appears and make sure the right version is still live.
After the campaign, the advertiser asks how it performed. The publisher opens another system, gathers the available numbers and tries to connect them back to the issue, article and placement that were sold.
If this sounds familiar, adding another standalone ad tool does not necessarily solve it. It can create another dashboard while the publisher still has to connect the campaign record to the creative, the creative to the article and the article to the result.
What publishers need is one complete path from the signed campaign to the published placement and the final report.
That is why we built Ads in Publi.
Run the campaign where the publication already lives
Available today, Ads gives publication teams one place to manage static campaigns from setup through reporting.
Advertiser details, campaign terms, responsive creative and published placements stay connected. Campaign changes flow through to the places where the ad runs. Reporting comes back through that same campaign record, so the result does not have to be reconstructed after the fact.
Ads lives alongside the publication workflow in Publi. Editors do not need to become ad-operations specialists, and commercial teams do not need to maintain a second version of what the CMS is already doing.
Built for the people responsible for the whole campaign
Publishers sit between the advertiser, the commercial agreement, the editorial team and the reader. They are responsible for what was promised, what appeared and what can be reported when the campaign ends.
Ads gives that person a live view of the campaign. They can see its status, schedule, creative and placements without chasing updates across the team. If an offer changes, the creative can be replaced centrally. If a campaign needs to stop, it can be paused across its placements. The record remains intact when the campaign is complete.
That control matters during production, when deadlines are tight. It matters even more after publication, when an advertiser expects a clear answer without waiting for the team to reconcile several systems.
Four connected stages, from sale to report
Ads brings the static campaign lifecycle into the publication workflow.
Keep the agreement with the campaign
Create the advertiser and campaign, add its destination and record how it should run. A campaign can stay with an issue or use a defined time window, with an impression target when the agreement calls for one.
The campaign starts paused, so nothing appears before the team is ready. From there it can be launched, paused, completed or archived without losing the history behind it.
Give every screen the right creative
Upload image creative for desktop and, when the campaign needs it, a separate version for mobile. Run a straightforward image ad or use Split Messaging to pair a campaign image with the advertiser’s logo, headline, message and call to action.
Designers set the disclosure and surrounding treatment once in Design Studio. Every placement can feel at home in the publication while remaining unmistakably advertising. Accessible naming is part of the creative setup, not a repair left until the end.
Work inside the article
Editors add the ad where they are already shaping the story. They can search approved creative by advertiser, campaign or name, see whether it is eligible to run and preview the real placement in context before publishing.
If creative has not been uploaded yet, it can be added to the campaign from the editor. There is no attachment to decode and no separate placement brief to translate back into the page.
Show what the campaign delivered
See delivery, viewability, clicks and click-through rate in the context of the campaign. Break performance down by creative, publication, issue, article, placement and device, and follow progress against the campaign target.
The result is a report grounded in what was actually published and where readers encountered it—not a set of numbers someone has to match to the campaign afterward.
Spend less time reconciling campaigns
Publishers are accountable for what a campaign delivers. They should also have control over how it gets from agreement to article—and a clear record when the advertiser asks what happened.
Ads in Publi connects that work without taking it away from the people who own it. The commercial team gains visibility. Editors keep control of the reading experience. Designers protect the publication. Advertisers get a result the publisher can stand behind.
Ads is now available in Publi.
